The problem

You automate billing. But who checks the source?

CloudBilling gathers usage data, applies pricing rules, and generates invoices. But between provider and invoice, things can go wrong that automation doesn’t catch.

These aren’t bugs in your billing. They’re errors in the source data from your providers. Most don’t show up as broken invoices. They show up as numbers that look plausible but aren’t quite right. Without someone with deep provider knowledge checking that data, they go unnoticed.

Across hundreds of customers and thousands of line items, that represents real revenue loss. And when a customer questions an invoice you can’t fully explain, trust erodes.

The solution

Expert verification, every billing cycle

After CloudBilling generates your invoices, our team pulls the original source files from your providers, distributors, and private cloud infrastructure and compares every relevant data point against what CloudBilling produced.

We check source data against processed output, verify that every partner discount and volume tier has been applied, reconcile mid-month changes and their credits and prorations, and flag anything that doesn’t add up with a clear explanation of what it means for your invoice.

Every billing cycle, you receive two structured reports. The pre-checks report covers support tickets, revenue dynamics, and environment errors. The Managed Reconciliation Report delivers full reconciliation against source files, with detailed tables for every data point checked.

A documented audit trail before a single invoice goes out.

Managed Reconciliation is an extra service we can provide with the CloudBilling Engine. The Engine handles your billing process. Managed Reconciliation adds the assurance that the source data behind it is correct.

If you’re not yet using CloudBilling, we’d love to show you what’s possible.

The bigger picture

Reconciliation is how you get to data you trust

Every line traceable to the record it came from, and every difference visible before the invoice goes out.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does the Managed Reconciliation team check?

We compare the original source data from your cloud providers and distributors against the data in CloudBilling: usage amounts, discount application, credit and debit calculations. Any discrepancies are reported before you approve your invoices.

Which sources does Managed Reconciliation cover?

The full range of sources connected to CloudBilling: public cloud providers like Microsoft and AWS, tier 2 distributors like TD Synnex, Arrow or Ingram Micro and private cloud infrastructures. Talk to our team about your specific environment.

How often does the verification happen?

Every billing cycle. Our team reviews your invoices monthly, timed to your billing run, so you receive your validation reports before you approve and send.

Will Managed Reconciliation slow down my billing process?

No. The verification runs in parallel with your billing cycle. You receive the validation reports before your approval deadline. In addition, our team continuously performs health checks on your CloudBilling environment to be prepared for the upcoming billing run.

What happens when a discrepancy is found?

We document the issue and explain what caused it: a provider error like a missing partner discount, or a mid-month change that created unexpected charges. You get a clear explanation and decide how to proceed.

Is Managed Reconciliation a separate purchase?

Yes. It’s available as an extra service for CloudBilling customers. Contact our team how the solution could work for you.
